When it comes to their business, Blizzard Entertainment can pretty much do anything they want. That not only includes making some of the best, if not THE best, PC games ever made but even things that don’t make them any money but are still a lot of fun.
For the recent opening of Blizzard’s new offices in Irvine, CA the developer decided to call up WETA, Workshop best known for their visual effects work for Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy. The result of the team up, as reported by the Orange County Register, is shown here; a 12 foot tall orc and wolf sculpture inspired by Blizzard’s Warcraft and World of Warcraft games. The piece of artwork was moved from New Zealand to Blizzard’s headquarters and placed in the compan courtyard. Now that’s power.
