At least this news is officially coming from them. It’s also reassuring to hear that they are going to try their best to release the game at the same time.
PC gamers get miffed whenever a multi-platform game release snubs the PC in favor of consoles. Sometimes the PC port can take months or even years to show up. However 2K Games claims that won’t be the case for their long awaited action game sequel BioShock 2.
Computer and Video Games quotes a publisher spokesperson as saying, “We’re aiming for simultaneous release on all platforms (Xbox 360, PS3 and PC).” That’s good news for PC gamers who have been waiting for the follow-up to the acclaimed 2007 title. Meanwhile the same article says info about BioShock 2′s multiplayer mode will be revealed “soon enough” although rumors of the game having a co-op mode turned out to be false.
